Ryan W. MillerIn a public plea for information, police in Utah released new images of missing college student Mackenzie Lueck just before she got into a Lyft and was dropped off at a park, her last known location in more than a week since she vanished.
Salt Lake City assistant Police Chief Tim Doubt said authorities don't have evidence of foul play but are worried because it isn't in Lueck's character to"go off the grid." "We have exhausted all avenues of determining that information, and want to ask this person to please call us," Doubt told reporters Tuesday. He said police are also unsure whether the person was a man or woman.The Lyft driver has been cleared in the investigation and the ride-sharing company has been cooperative, police said.
