Musician Joe Henry, who is married to Madonna’s sister Melanie Ciccone, made the sad announcement via Instagram on Saturday.
Faced with a troubled past, he had recently gone to rebab and reconnected with his family.Madonna, who is one of eight children, grew up in Michigan, where her older brother was believed to have been residing when he died.Anthony was Madonna’s oldest sibling.Anthony, for his part, had long struggled with alcoholism and was reportedly homeless for several years. He at one point had reportedly been living under a bridge in Michigan.

If I froze to death, my family probably wouldn’t know or care about it for six months,” he“My father would be very happy if I died of hypothermia, then he wouldn’t have to worry about it any more.
