When the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles face off Sunday night in Super Bowl LVII, the spotlight will be on their signal-callers: Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts.

In his previous two Super Bowls, Mahomes has averaged 45.5 passes per game – 42 vs. the 49ers in a Super Bowl LIV win, and 49 in a loss to the Buccaneers the next season. Against the 49ers in Super Bowl LIV, Mahomes threw for two TDs and two interceptions in the Chiefs’ 31-20 win. The next year in Super Bowl LV against the Bucs, Mahomes didn’t have a touchdown pass, but threw two picks.
The Eagles haven’t given up a touchdown pass this postseason, and only gave up 22 during the regular season. In fact, they’ve only given up one three-touchdown game, which was a Week 16 loss to Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. Inside the red zone, Hurts does his most damage, as 13 of his 15 rushing touchdowns have come from inside the opponents’ 20-yard line.
