NJ Transit is operating on a full weekday schedule Friday as long as weather and road conditions safely allow. Customers are being advised to only travel if necessary and are urged to factor in extra time for their commute.Roads across the Tri-State are expected to deteriorate as the storm brings rain, increasing wind gusts and finally a dramatic temperature plunge.
Outside the city, shore communities on Long Island and elsewhere were preparing for slick roads and possible flooding.The good news is major airlines are already offering travel waivers to get you rescheduled. United is offering an East Coast Winter Weather waiver, if a ticket was purchased prior to Dec. 18 for those traveling from Thursday to Sunday.
