File photo.A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of gunning down a man who owed him $5 in South Dallas, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit.
Bonner’s brother was a passenger in the car, and he told police that Bonner drove them to an apartment complex there and then got out of the car alone, the affidavit said. The brother told police that Bonner returned to the car later and was followed by a woman who was yelling at Bonner and a man holding a gun, according to the affidavit.
Another witness told police that Bonner had walked up to a car where Gordon sat and Gordon gave him a small vial of PCP, the affidavit said. The witness said that Bonner then dropped marijuana into the car and walked away as Gordon yelled after him that he owed $5, according to the affidavit. The witness said Gordon followed Bonner and opened fire, the affidavit said.
