Travis Dallas was arrested in a November killing in the Stemmons Corridor.

A 30-year-old man was arrested last week after a months-long investigation into a deadly shooting in Dallas’ Stemmons Corridor.off Irving Boulevard about 3 a.m. Nov. 27 and found Cortney Perkins, 36, shot to death, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit.

Detectives found four 9mm cartridge casings near a pool table about 30 feet from Perkins’ body, the affidavit says. Several people told investigators that Travis Dallas was the shooter, police wrote in the affidavit, but it took months before video surveillance of the shooting helped identify him as the gunman and show what occurred.Email Address
