Police responded to a disabled vehicle at 7:18 p.m. Oct. 14 and found the car had been reported stolen out of Parma. The owner of the car was contacted by Parma Police and the owner said the driver was her boyfriend who had assaulted her earlier that night and left in her car. The man was arrested for receiving stolen property.A driver was pulled over at 9:37 p.m. Sept. 21 when an officer saw him driving erratically as he entered Interstate 77 from Rockside Road.
He told the officer he’d had a “few beers” that night and he failed field sobriety tests and registered neared twice the legal limit on a Breathalyzer test.Police found a reported stolen car in a hotel parking lot at 9:14 a.m. Oct. 17. The driver of the blue Honda was located and reportedly told police a friend had let her drive the car. She added she was homeless and traveling to Arizona but had missed her flight. The woman was arrested for receiving stolen property.
