Con su concierto el sábado por la noche, las leyendas del rock en español Maná batirán un récord de espectáculos agotados que antes compartían Eagles y Kanye West.
Con más de 30 años y nueve álbumes detrás de ellos, sería fácil llamar a la carrera récord de siete shows de Maná en el Foro una vuelta de la victoria. Pero para las leyendas del rock en español, vender siete conciertos en el Foro en una sola gira, eclipsando un récord compartido por Kanye West y las Águilas, es un triunfo.
“Para mí es como un sueño. Hemos trabajado durante 30 años para poder hacer esto", dice el vocalista / guitarrista Fher Olvera, disfrutando de un raro día libre en la ciudad natal de la banda, Guadalajara. Aunque todavía tiene su sede en la capital de Jalisco, el grupo ha considerado durante mucho tiempo a Los Ángeles como su segundo hogar, y le da crédito a la ciudad y a su devota base de fanáticos por haber comenzado su carrera con un espectáculo con entradas agotadas en el Palladium en 1993. La banda ha ganado ganancias.
