A man fatally shot his wife before shooting himself early Saturday in Cleburne, police said.
Cleburne police officers responded about 2 a.m. to a home in the 300 block of Gatrix Avenue after a man told dispatchers he had shot his wife, the department said in a news release. When officers arrived, they found an elderly woman dead and a man who was still alive with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.Police said the man, who has not been identified, was sent to Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth hospital in critical condition. It’s not clear what his current condition is.
