A man was found dead Thursday morning outside a crashed vehicle that had been pursued a short time earlier by San Pablo police who had terminated the chase.
SAN PABLO — A car that had been briefly chased by San Pablo police before the pursuit was cancelled Thursday morning was found crashed a short time later with a 29-year-old man lying dead outside the vehicle.
The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the Nissan, but the driver kept going and a pursuit was initiated. The distance between where the pursuit ended and where the Nissan crashed is less than half a mile apart. But according to the release, authorities have not been able to determine if the man was the driver or passenger.
