Man jumps off San Diego-Coronado Bridge; authorities search for body [Breaking]
A man jumped off the San Diego-Coronado bridge Sunday morning, prompting a search for his body, officials said.
The man, who was believed to be in his early 20s, parked his vehicle midway on the bridge about 7 a.m. and looked over the side before jumping into the bay, according to the California Highway Patrol. Harbor police officers on a boat launched a search for his body. An update was not available Sunday night.The bridge was shut down in both directions while the vehicle was removed. No further information was immediately available.
