Phu Tran was discovered by a livestock farmer in Australia's Northern Territory after being stranded in the Australian Outback for two weeks.
Phu Tran, 40, was discovered by Ted Fogarty, a livestock farmer, near the remote town of Alice Springs in Northern Territory, Australia, according to local police.
“I was talking to a person [Monday] night,” Fogarty told The Associated Press, “and she was telling me, had I heard there's three missing people in this area and I hadn't heard so, and I thought this morning I'll go out and have a look in this area and see if I see any tracks or anything. And as soon as I come here I seen the tracks and just followed them in here.
McBeath-Riley was rescued late Sunday evening about a mile north of where their car got stuck. She allegedly decided to stay there while the other two set off for help.
