Secret Service says man lit his outer jacket on fire outside the White House grounds and has been hospitalized with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries

The U.S. Secret Service said it was responding to a “a police/medical incident” along the north fence of the executive mansion and that it had closed Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House to pedestrian traffic. News video showed emergency medical personnel arriving to tend to a person who police had surrounded on the ground.
