Ledajrick “LD” Cox was killed in a drive-by shooting hours after his high school graduation.
Former Dallas Carter receiver Ledajrick Cox was killed hours after graduating from high school in 2017. A Dallas County jury sentenced his killer to 45 years in prison. A 22-year-old man was sentenced to 45 years in prison for killing a Carter High School football player and prom king hours after his graduation.
A Dallas County jury convicted Jeremiah Robinson of murder last week for the 2017 drive-by shooting that killed Ledajrick “LD” Rajaeu Cox. Robinson immediately requested a new trial. Another man, Courtney Wright, is also charged with murder in the shooting. He is still waiting for a trial. Wright’s lawyer, Heath Harris, said he drove the car but did not know Robinson intended to shoot into the crowd that included Cox.
