HARLINGEN, Texas -- A man who was wanted for allegedly murdering his wife was struck and killed by a van in south Texas on Thursday evening, police say.At about 6 p.m., police responded to a fatal auto-pedestrian crash on the North 77 Expressway.
Investigators said a man stepped out of a vehicle parked on the shoulder when he was struck and killed by a passing van.Earlier that day, police said they had been looking for Osvaldo Rodriguez for allegedly shooting and killing his wife Magdalena"Maggie" Rodriguez, 41, during a domestic violence disturbance in the 10200 block of Krystine in Mont Belvieu.
Police said an arrest warrant charging the 41-year-old with murder on a $2 million bond had been issued.
