The staunch ally of the former president decried the latest development in the special counsel's investigation as a way for Democrats to cover up alleged crimes by President Joe Biden's family.Q: "Former President Trump says he received a letter from Jack Smith saying he's a target of a grand jury investigation of January 6th probe. "The American people are going to be furious. And if what Jack Smith is doing is weaponized government and he's weaponizing the Department of Justice against President Trump in a complete lie about President Trump and January 6. And it's outrageous, I can't believe our country has to endure this. And I'll be standing with President Trump the entire way," she added.
In a tweet later on Tuesday, Greene called Smith a"lousy attorney" and a"weak little b**** for the Democrats."His career is filled with mistrials, overturned cases, and judicial rebukes.— Rep. Trump alleges the target letter from Smith was sent on Sunday night and gives him four days to report to the grand jury investigating the Capitol riot. He claims it"almost always means arrest and indictment."
