After leading their college basketball programs to postseason runs, Utah Valley's Mark Madsen and Utah State's Ryan Odom are leaving the state for other opportunities.

Madsen led Utah Valley to a 70-51 overall record, but the 2022-23 season was the best in program history. Elsewhere in the state, Utah State coach Ryan Odom is reportedly about to be hired at Virginia Commonwealth.
