Marvel's darkest superpower makes Ghost Rider look tame.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Warning! This article contains spoilers for Ghost Rider #18Throughout Ghost Rider’s Marvel Comics history, no matter the incarnation, they’ve had the reputation of being cursed with Marvel’s most terrifying superpower, as experiencing what it is to be a Ghost Rider is consistently described as a living hell.

Talia Warroad is a former agent of SHIELD and FBI agent who specializes in the supernatural and the occult. Introduced in the first issue of this ongoing Ghost Rider run, Talia immediately exhibited something of a ‘sixth sense’ when it comes to the otherworldly cases she’s assigned. In fact, Talia quite literally has a sixth sense, as she’s able to see demonic or otherwise deceased entities that cling to the mortal plane.

Talia Warroad’s ‘Supernatural Sight’ Power Is Scarier Than Ghost Rider’s In a preview for Ghost Rider #18 by Benjamin Percy and Carlos Nieto, Talia Warroad explains that she has the inherent ability to ‘see dead people’, and while that’s a bit of information that readers already knew, she elaborates further by explaining that this power manifested when she was just a little girl. While lying in bed next to Johnny Blaze, Talia sees a harmless spirit lingering in the corner.

Talia was able to use her gifts to trailblaze her career, and eventually meet someone who may be the love of her life. However, the reality of having the power to see demons and ghosts everywhere - especially since it started when she was just a little girl - is absolutely horrifying. This isn’t to discount the pain and horror experienced by Ghost Riders, but at least there’s a sense of power and protection in the face of evil that comes with being a Ghost Rider.

Ghost Rider’s powers link his soul to hell, opening him up to an evil so concentrated, most humans can’t even fathom the horror. But Talia’s powers allow her to peek into the same hellscape that seeps into the physical world on a daily basis, which - as revealed by this preview - started when she was a child, which is why Talia Warroad’s terrifying superpower makes Ghost Rider’s seem tame.
