Exclusive: maryjblige stars in new sneak peek for VH1's Scream
-exclusive clip features Mary J. Blige as a concerned mother looking out for her son.
The show, set in Atlanta, tells the story of local football star Deion Elliot, played by RJ Cyler, whose terrifying past comes back to haunt him. The clip shows Blige, who play's Cyler's mom, after the school principal informed her of her son's detention. The conversation then turns to the upcoming Halloween holiday, and Cyler reassures Blige that he is feeling much better and will go to college. "Mom, I promise, I'm good.
Other cast members tormented by the mysterious "Ghostface" killer include C.J. Wallace, Faith Evans, Paris Jackson, Tyler Posey and Keke Palmer. The season, executive produced by Queen Latifah, airs over three nights with two episodes each night. Catch
