A Maryland man has been arrested and charged in connection to the murder of his girlfriend in 2021.
Kevin Lorenzo Jackson, 44, of Suitland, has been charged with first- and second-degree murder in the death of Kimberly Page, 51, of Capitol Heights. He was arrested in Orange County, Florida, on Jan. 6 and is facing extradition to Maryland, per police.Jackson was arrested under the name Dorian James, Orange County Media Relations told the Washington Examiner. He had an initial court appearance on Jan. 6, and an arraignment hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 9.
Jackson allegedly shot and killed Page during a dispute in December 2021, according to police. Page was found by officers on the road and pronounced dead at the scene.He has been on the run since the murder and was caught by Orange County police after he was caught dealing fentanyl and cocaine, among other narcotics, per court documents.
According to court records, he has had previous interactions with Orange County police. In April 2022, he was booked for possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to sell/deliver, and possession of cocaine — all third-degree felonies. No sentences were brought against him.
