Maury Povich's show is ending after 31 years

The “Maury” show is ending after more than three decades as Maury Povich, 83, announced his retirement over the weekend.“Original episodes will air through September and Maury will air in syndication for the foreseeable future.”
Povich previously said he was ready to retire six years ago, but agreed to one more deal back then, continuing the series that first premiered in 1991 as “The Maury Povich Show.” The show has since become famous for showing the results of DNA paternity tests — “You are not the father!” — as friends and family members accuse each other of cheating in front of a live studio audience.
