San Antonio police and fire personnel investigate an explosion that occurred on the Southeast Side late Friday.All four people who died in an explosion at a Southeast Side underground residence have been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, according to county death records.
The most recently identified bodies are those of 57-year-old William Thompson and 61-year-old James Gus Kalisek. Both men reportedly died from complications from injuries sustained in an apparent explosion, the medical examiner’s office said.Brian Kalisek — co-owner of K-Bar Services Inc.
Two of the bodies were found inside the structure and two were found outside, Douglas Berry, arson bureau chief for the San Antonio Fire Department, said Tuesday. He did not specify which persons were found where, however.
