Called the ‘Blob,’ this mysterious ancient organism has 720 genders, no brain or eyes, but can learn, solve problems, double its size in a day, and heal itself in two minutes if cut in half
The"blob" is a yellowish unicellular small living being which looks like a fungus but acts like an animal.
From Saturday, members of the public can become better acquainted with "le blob," which has taken up residence in a large tank at the zoo in Paris' Bois de Vincennes park. "The blob is really one of the most extraordinary things that live on Earth today," the president of Paris zoo, Bruno David, said as he introduced the creature to journalists in the French capital.
