For weeks the baby’s name has been a source of speculation and after the delivery, the betting company Ladbrokes had placed 5-to-1 odds on"Arthur." The child is seventh in line to the throne, and an eighth great-grandchild for the 93-year-old Queen. "The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.The baby will be entitled to have dual nationality, as the offspring of a British father and American mother.It will remain there for 24 hours.
Although it hasn’t been revealed where the birth occurred, it has been inferred that it may have been at their Frogmore Cottage home, where Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland was present and, according to the royal family’s twitter account, “overjoyed” at the arrival of her first grandchild.
