In a new interview, Meghan Markle gets real about how hard it is to be a new parent while the press is watching.
a genuine and honest answer -- and it was clear there was so much emotion behind it, just by looking at her face as she spoke.
"Any woman, especially when they're pregnant, you're really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging," she said."And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman, it's a lot. So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed."Meghan went on to say that no one has really asked her if she's OK after all of this.
And when the host asked her if it's safe to say she's not OK, and that she's been struggling, Meghan said yes.Splash News over the past couple of years. Being an American -- a half black American, at that -- marrying into a royal family and then having a baby? That's a lot for any one person to handle, but Meghan's been doing it all beautifully.
