Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has accused home improvement chain Menards of price gouging during the coronavirus pandemic.
Nessel said Tuesday that she sent a cease and desist letter to the retailer with the accusation.
Menards spokesman Jeff Abbott said Wednesday it is a chaotic time in the market but the company is trying to adjust to market changes and believes its bleach prices, specifically, were reasonable.
