A new proposal would allow the city to use federal funds to transform a hotel into transitional housing for people experiencing homelessness.

The 70-room property near Main Street and Power Road would be used as a shelter for seniors, families, and victims of domestic violence.near Power Road and Main Street due to the perceived notion that it would make the surrounding neighborhoods less safe.
