Meta tells employees to work from home as it prepares to axe 10,000: ‘Hunger Games have begun’
Several Meta employees took to social media sites like LinkedIn to announce they had been swept up in Zuckerberg’s latest round of layoffs.
One expectant mother on a work visa posted on Blind that she was fired two days shy of going on maternity leave. Another wrote on LinkedIn that she got the bad news while on her honeymoon. Meta told its managers that teams will be reshuffled and those who will remain with the company can expect to work under new supervisors, according to the report by Bloomberg.
