Viewers of Wednesday’s Mets game were seeing red.
Those may have been the words uttered inside the SNY production truck during Wednesday’s broadcast of the Mets game against the Astros as the telecast faced a number of issues throughout the day.
“We would like to apologize for some of the technical difficulties that we’ve been suffering through today. You know it’s 100-plus [degrees] in Houston and sometimes equipment does not cooperate,” Cohen said. Cohen couldn’t help but laugh as he realized what had just happened during the eighth-inning apology. The SNY feed turned red during the eighth inning on Wednesday.“That’s the theme of the day,” Cohen said before turning his focus back to the action on the field.
