Rolling Stone exclusively announced that Belanova will reunited for a 12-date tour across the United States this spring.
in Mexico City last November. It was her first time onstage in years, and she wasn’t sure if she’d ever return to performing full-time again.
The tour is produced by Live Nation and Frias Entertainment, and Belanova — made up of Guerrero, keyboardist Edgar Huerta, and bassist Ricardo Arreola — will stop in cities including Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, and Miami Beach. “It makes me so happy to see that new generations listen to our music,” adds Arreola. “We’re lucky that people didn’t forget about us.”Guerrero is honest, though: She wasn’t sure if she was ready to come back to the group. “But I owe it to the public,” she says. “I was having existential crises, and at many moments, I thought, ‘What if I had a different career or job?’ But I realized that is even good for my health.
“Time will tell, and we’ll see how things progress,” Guerrero explains. “I don’t think an album will come, at least for now.”
