Some students say they were shocked when they read it.
OXFORD, Ohio - Miami University is apologizing after it said a staff member sent an "overly provocative" email to students.
The community manager, who we are told oversees the resident advisors and students, sent the email to promote an event hosted in the building. "It was basically just sexual education bingo, nothing absurd or crazy at all and a lot of people misread that email and thought something more absurd was going on," Greist said.
Administrators at Miami say leaders in the Office of Residence Life are working to make sure staff members create more professional and clear emails in the future.
