Miami University considers adding ‘morning after pill’ vending machine on campus
The effort to bring a machine to Miami University was spurred by students involved with Associated Student Government at the school, the Student reports. They’re hoping it will provide a more-affordable and easily accessible option for students.
“This is still early in the process with a lot of details to be determined,” Alecia Lipton, a Miami University spokeswoman,. Lipton says the ASG will cover the costs of the machine if it’s installed. Miami University Students for Life released a statement saying the organization is opposed to the proposal, WXIX reports.
