The Mexicans and the South and Central Americans and the Filipinos told their friends, and they told their friends to go to the smallest church in the neighborhood. They’d be welcome. Transfiguration was one of the first churches in the area to do a Mass in Spanish for the newly arrived. Eventually, they added a mass in Tagalog.
