.MikePosner promises to 'keep going' with his cross-country walk while he recovers from a rattlesnake bite
Posner kicked off his cross-country trek in mid-April, leaving from Asbury Park, New Jersey, on a route that took him through his home town of Detroit on the way to Venice Beach, California. Before his departure, Posner toldthat the walk was something he'd wanted to do "for years and years," but after the deaths of his father, attorney M. Jon Posner, in January of 2017, and then his friend Avicci during April of 2018, the trek became a priority.
"I feel everyone has a list of things they'd like to do in life and then a list of things they have to do," Posner said. "After I realized I couldn't wait to do these things I had to do on that list. I'd been putting off for years and years and years. The time is now."A Real Good Kid
