Miley Cyrus has spoken candidly about the ups and downs she faced during her Disney Channel days as Hannah Montana
"From the time I was 11, it was, 'You're a pop star! That means you have to be blonde, and you have to have long hair, and you have to put on some glittery tight thing,’” she shared. “Meanwhile, I'm this fragile little girl playing a 16-year-old in a wig and a ton of makeup.”Cyrus called herself the “least paid person on my cast” during a 2016 interview with“I didn’t know any better. I was just like, 'I can be on Disney! Yeah, I want to do it!'” she recalled.
“I’m actually not an attention-seeking person, sitting here as a 30-year-old grown woman,” Cyrus toldin May 2023. “I was creating attention for myself because I was dividing myself from a character I had played. Anyone, when you’re 20 or 21, you have more to prove.”
