Miley Cyrus has gifted fans insight into the movie that sparked an iconic Hollywood romance.
Cyrus played the part of 17-year-old rebel Veronica “Ronnie” Miller, while Hemsworth played the part of Will Blakelee, a popular athlete she falls in love with. “I think one of the elements that made that movie feel so special was it was watching two very young people fall in love with each other,” Cyrus continued. “Which was happening in real-time and in real life. So, the chemistry was undeniable.”The couple met when Cyrus was 16 and had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship for nearly a decade, culminating in marriage in 2018 before they announced their separation less than a year later.
