Tim Lopes is doing all he can to stay on the big-league radar.
The 28-year-old infielder hit his eighth homer in Triple-A El Paso’sThe home run was his only hit in the game. He leads the system in homer runs and is hitting .310/.387/.556 in 27 games. He’s seen time this year at second, third, shortstop and left field.
Lopes last appeared in the majors in 2021 with the Brewers, going 1-for-10 over seven games. He is a .246/.310/.352 hitter in the majors across parts of two seasons.Right-hander struck out eight over six shutout innings in his first win since returning to the organization this winter. He walked two and allowed two hits.
