I was at Copycat Co on H street with a group of friends. We were saddled up to the bar and this very cute brunette with glasses was sitting behind me. She and I interacted a couple of times, and from what my female friends told me she seemed to be laughing at the stories I was telling. I was the blonde haired guy in the flannel shirt.
The lady in question was very understanding when I bumped into her, and generally seemed nice. I appreciated her for not minding when I interrupted her reading. We exchanged names at the end before I left, but I chickened out on asking for her number, even though I should have gotten the hint when she compared me to some famous chef from Portland.
