A pair of Mission district homeless encampment fires burned within days of one another, torching tents, trees, and several vehicles.
Monday's fire came on the heels of another blaze just down the street on Friday. Photos from a neighboring apartment taken that day showed a large tree set ablaze from a fire below. Elias told The Examiner that encampment fire also burned multiple vehicles.
