Kroger has announced that it has banned a customer from a Missouri City store for reportedly yelling racial slurs at a Black store manager.Kroger announced Tuesday that it has banned a customer for reportedly yelling racial slurs at a Black employee at one of its Missouri City stores.
In a written statement, Kroger said,"We have measures in place in our stores and have trained our associates to follow protocol should an event arise that infringes on our core values. We do not accept this type of behavior from anyone and as a result, we are banning the customer. In this specific situation, the customer was asked to leave the store immediately by the store leader and was informed that he could not return if he continued acting in this manner.
