A 'great time' for federal spending on infrastructure: Mnuchin
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Wednesday he is talking with senior congressional Democrats on an infrastructure bill as part of the government's continued response to the coronavirus outbreak.
In an interview with CNBC, Mnuchin said he has held talks over the past year about legislation to rebuild America's roads and bridges with Massachusetts Democrat Richard Neal, who is chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal."We will continue to have those conversations. There will be more bills. It is a great time now to invest in infrastructure," he said.
