Jason Dean Billingsley's mother is urging her son to turn himself in to police as he's wanted for the murder of a Baltimore Tech CEO and a separate attempted murder.

LaPere had signs of blunt-force trauma.
"I don’t even know how he met that girl, where he met that girl, or how he got into her apartment," she added. Scarlett Billingsley said her son had shown her a gun on Monday and believes he's attempting to sell it. Billingsley was sentenced to 30 years in prison on February 4, 2015 after pleading guilty to a 1st-degree forcible sex offense, with 16 years of suspended time and five years of parole. He was released from prison in October 2022.
He's also wanted in connection to a Sept. 19 attempted murder, arson and rape that occurred in the 800 block of Edmondson Avenue, according to the Baltimore Police Department, who are telling members of the public he's"considered armed and dangerous."
