Central Pennsylvania could be in for another turbulent weather week, with warm weather immediately followed by cold and snow.is calling for gradually rising temperatures that could peak in the 60s Thursday. However, by Friday, temperatures could plunge into the low 40s, and snow could fall.
Snow could start to fall before 10 a.m. Friday, and combine with rain between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., forecasters said. Rain could continue all evening into early Saturday. Although the northern part of the state could see up to 2 inches of snow accumulation, forecasters said little to no snow is expected to lay on the ground Friday in south-central Pennsylvania.Breezy and milder conditions through midweek will precede another winter storm system on Friday. The best odds for 2" of snow or more is over north-central PA, while an ice glaze from freezing rain is most likely in the Laurel Highlands.
