More snow is expected to fall on the SoCal mountain communities, but many are still trying to recover from last month's back-to-back storms: 'Hopefully, it will seem a lot less severe.'
A winter storm warning will be in effect from 4 a.m. Wednesday until 2 p.m. Thursday in the eastern San Gabriel Mountains, with 6 to 12 inches of snow possible above 5,000 feet.
"Don't want it, but it's like I said before, after 8 feet, anything else is easy," said Joyce Schroeder, who lives in Twin Peaks. "Hopefully, it will seem a lot less severe.""I don't know if you saw the house up the street but it completely collapsed, there are people who have lost everything," said Schroeder.
"Probably 8 to 10 jobs were lost because of the storm," said Miranda. "We were so excited, the owners of the property were starting to show it, sign things up, it was going to be phenomenal, but it is what it is right now."
