A Wisconsin woman is facing charges connected with the death of her newborn baby more than a dozen years after the infant died.
MADISON, Wis. - A Wisconsin woman is facing a felony charge connected with the death of her newborn baby more than a dozen years after the infant died.
Luttinen was arrested and charged with concealing the death of a child. She also made her first court appearance on Friday, reported byDodge County investigators reported they found the body of the newborn baby in April 2009 abandoned in a garbage bag in the woods in the Village of Theresa, a town about 50 miles outside of Milwaukee.
The autopsy concluded that the baby was not murdered and suffered no trauma. According to deputies, she lived for probably less than 24 hours, and a toxicology screening did not find any drugs in the baby’s system.
