The crash occurred Tuesday afternoon in Salem County.
A Salem County man died Tuesday afternoon when his car was struck by another vehicle as he exited a driveway, according to New Jersey State Police.
Barry Sofsky, 71, of Pittsgrove, was leaving a driveway on Garden Road near Crow Pond Road in the township shortly after 3 p.m., police said, when his car was hit by an SUV traveling east on Garden Road. Sofsky was killed while the other driver, a 39-year-old Millville resident, suffered minor injuries, police said.No charges have been announced, but the crash remains under investigation, according to police.
