San Diego State won't play Fresno State at home or San Jose State away
Fresno State and at San Jose State. Air Force and Wyoming. Jan. 3 and Feb. 18. Jan. 7.‘s Mountain West basketball schedule, which was released Wednesday. In order: the two games the Aztecs miss in the unbalanced, 18-game schedule, their opening and closing opponents, the dates of their two byes, and the dreaded trip to Laramie.
No times or TV were announced Wednesday, and games can — and will — move up or back a day once CBS and Fox Sports select which ones they’ll televise as part of the Mountain West’s media rights contract. A final version is expected by the end of September. This is the first time since 2017-18, not counting the COVID season, that SDSU will not close the regular season against Nevada.
One game that likely will be circled by the seniors is Feb. 7 at Utah State, where SDSU has lost three straight and four of the last five.
