The MCU's newest hero MsMarvel aka Iman Vellani goes on a tour of Marvel Studios' offices and gets to weild two of the franchise's most iconic weapons - CaptainAmerica's shield & Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. WATCH:
Ms. Marvel star, Iman Vellani tours the Marvel Studios office where she wields Captain America's shield and Thor's hammer. The Canadian actress recently debuted as Kamala Khan in the new Disney+ series. Like her character, Vellani is a massive fan of the Avengers and in her new social media post, she is able to play with some of the MCU's iconic props.
In Ms. Marvel, Kamala is a 16-year-old Jersey City native and Avengers superfan, particularly for Captain Marvel. While Ms. Marvel solely focuses on the character's origin story, it also leans on her fandom, with the premiere episode even featuring the first-ever AvengerCon. Throughout the marketing campaign for the Disney+ series, Vellani has proven time and time again that she is a genuine MCU fan, taking pop quizzes where she shows off her knowledge of the Marvel universe.
Looking at the props, both the Captain America shield and Mjölnir are the original iterations of the weapons. The shield doesn't have the extra detailing like that Sam Wilson receives in Avengers: Endgame. Meanwhile, the hammer doesn't have the clear cracks in the version of Mighty Thor is set to use in Thor: Love and Thunder. Aside from the aforementioned props, Vellani also attempts to put on an Iron Man helmet. Sadly, it doesn't fit her. But while doing press junkets for Ms.
On-screen, only Chris Evans' Steve Rogers has wielded both Captain America's shield and Thor's hammer as seen in the final Avengers: Endgame fight. Chances are that it might never happen again as it was a big moment for both the Avenger and the MCU as a whole. It had even been teased all the way back in Avengers: Age of Ultron. As for Ms.
