MTV readies another Video Music Awards, led by -- you guessed it -- Taylor Swift as top nominee. It's among the top music streaming events this week, along with a new podcast from the Osbournes, concerts by the Revivalists and Band of Horses, Superchunk, the Jerry Douglas Band and others, and more.

If the kids are back in school then it’s time again for the MTV Video Music Awards, taking place Tuesday, Sept. 12 from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. and, of course, televised and streaming across all of MTV’s platforms.
Taylor Swift leads all nominees with 11, followed by SZA with eight. Shakira will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and Diddy will take home the Global Icon Award; both will perform, with Demi Lovato, Doja Cat, Tomorrow X Together, the Stray Kids, Maneskin, Anitta, Karol G and Kelsea Ballerini also slated to take the stage.
