BREAKING: Multiple injured in active shooting in Odessa, Texas
Police warned residents of Odessa, Texas, of possible multiple shooters that were firing “at random people” on Saturday afternoon.An Odessa police spokeswoman told HuffPost just after 4:30 p.m. local time that there appeared to be “more than one” shooter and that the shootings had been taking place “literally all around town.”Odessa police said a suspect hijacked a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier truck and was last near the intersection of 38th and Walnut Ave.
The police department in Midland, located just northeast of Odessa, also reported that they were searching for two suspected shooters in two separate vehicles. Midland police said one suspect was at Cinergy, a movie theater in Midland, according to a Facebook post published just before 4 p.m. They also said they received reports of an active shooter at a Home Depot in Odessa.
